Doesn't she look like a young Kristen Dunst?? She could even pass for her younger sister, not every day you see a dead on look-a-like. She is such a gorgeous, refreshing young woman to have in the studio. My assistant and I had a blast photographing her in the field located near the studio.

I always love seeing these three come into the studio, they really are as gorgeous in real life as they are on (digital) film! We adventured off to the old historic portion of Sweetwater for this session, behind one of the old sewing factories in the down town city. Enjoy :)

{ What To Wear }

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday and enjoying the warm weather This 'what to wear'  ties in all the brightly colored summertime blossoms. The color palate is rich with earth tones, and a sweet kiss of brightly colored pinks, oranges, and mauve to accent. Perfect for those outdoor family sessions!

The one thing I love capturing most when it comes to newborns and their parents, is getting that raw melt your heart emotion. The pictures that will bring tears to someones eyes with just a quick glance because they can feel how much the parent loves their newborn child. This little ones was nine days old when she came into the studio, she was welcomed by her big sister Marlie, mother, and father.

I had such a hoot photographing this little family, their daughter is utterly adorable and even reminds me of a brown eyed version of my little one! 

{ Musician - JP Busch }

As a photographer I love working with music, it always seems to set the mood for how I want to portray a photograph. I got the pleasure of working with a close friend of mine, who just so happens to also be a musician. Not only did I get to take his portrait, but he also played a few songs for me as I worked! I've always been a fan of his local band 'Cutting Through Clouds'; but his new acoustic sound really touches me. Though it had been a while since these photos were taken, I can still feel the emotion of them as if they were just taken. His demeanor changes in his face as he sings his song 'Cause you're cheap', you can really feel his emotions as you look through his film.

{ Happy Second Birthday }

Ms. Marlie K. gracing the studio for a second time, celebrating her second birthday! She is such a doll baby, I love the last set of photos we did in the studio. She kind of reminds me of the old vintage Campbell's soup can with the little girl on the cover. :)

{ What To Wear }

Because I get a lot of emails from clients asking what they should wear to their sessions, I try to tell clients that matching color combinations are actually better than everyone wearing one solid color shirt. So in this months what to wear issue we are playing with Earth tones, with lots of pretty greens with accents of  brighter colors such as pink, purple, turquoise, gold and mustard yellow.

I have been so busy with sessions, editing, and making new products I have completely missed two weeks in a row of photoshop Friday :( , so in order to catch up I will post two today. Enjoy :)

{ Belly Laughs }

I had the pleasure of taking my brother-in-laws wifes maternity pictures while they were visiting us from Mouse country (lol Minnesota). Here is Marie's petite little 34 week baby bump, with their first child, whom was born shortly after these photos were taken. Nolan Jeffrey Webber was born on Monday May 16th.
